Rapid Replacement Program
The Enphase Rapid Replacement Program, combined with the visibility you have to the site through the Enlighten monitoring system, reduces the need for multiple site visits:
- RMA issuance without an on-site visit - we'll work with you to diagnose the problem remotely.
- Exchange replacement sent within 48 hours (weekday) at no cost.
- Free shipping of returned unit back to Enphase Energy.
- Reimbursement for removal and replacement is sent within four weeks of receiving returned inverter(s) and completed reimbursement request form. Reimbursements are applicable only within the first ten years of microinverter operation. Reimbursements are as follows:
- Enlighten subscribers: $150 + $25 per additional inverter
- Non-subscribers: $75
Rapid Replacement Process
Following is Enphase Energy’s process for warranty returns and repairs:
- Obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- Call Enphase Energy Customer Care toll-free at 877.797.4743 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST.
- No paperwork is required to obtain an RMA.
- Enphase Energy ships the replacement microinverter.
- Upon issuance of the RMA, Enphase Energy will ship the replacement microinverter to the address specified and will include a pre-paid shipping tag to return the defective device.
- When the replacement inverter arrives, please place the defective device into the same shipping box, apply the shipping tag to the box, and either call the shipping vendor or drop off the box at the nearest shipping location.
- Installer completes the RMA reimbursement request form by logging in to Enlighten and clicking on the "Support" and then "RMA" links. If you are an installer without an existing Enlighten login, please contact us to request a login.
- Enphase issues the reimbursement check.
- In order to qualify for the reimbursement, the defective microinverter must have been operated less than ten years, and it must be returned to Enphase Energy within 14 days of receiving the replacement unit.
- Within 4 weeks of receipt of the defective unit, Enphase Energy will issue a reimbursement check to the installer.

- How do I return a defective microinverter?
- Please call Enphase Energy Customer Care toll-free at 877.797.4743 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 pm PST to initiate the return process. No paperwork is required to obtain an RMA.
- What is the timeframe for shipment of the replacement?
- The replacement inverter will be shipped within 48 hours of issuance of the RMA. Replacement inverters are shipped by next-day air to the Continental United States and via regular shipment outside the Continental U.S.
- Can the defective unit be returned to my distributor?
- No. Please contact Enphase Energy directly by calling 877.797.4743 to initiate the replacement process.
- How do I get my installer removal and replacement reimbursement?
- There are four steps for an installer to receive the removal and replacement reimbursement:
- Obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by calling Enphase Energy Customer Care toll-free at 877.797.4743 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 pm PST.
- Upon issuance of the RMA, Enphase Energy will ship the replacement microinverter. Return the defective device in the same shipping box that the replacement arrived in.
- Complete the RMA reimbursement request form by logging in to Enlighten and clicking on the "Support" and then "RMA" links.
- Upon receiving the completed reimbursement request form and within 4 weeks of receipt of the defective unit, Enphase Energy will issue a reimbursement check to the installer.
